Spring in Wenatchee is a gorgeous time for a photography session. Not only is there fresh spring green all around, but the weather is perfect in these cooler months before the heat of summer arrives. The sun also sets early than it does in summer, which means the perfect time for soft, natural light portrait sessions is much easier to aim for than the late summer sunsets.
It was an honor to capture portraits of this beautiful mother and her baby son. She was excited to celebrate his life through a meaningful portrait session, after losing their first baby. Their precious baby will forever be a part of their family, though not earth-side with them. The giraffe tattoo on Mom’s shoulder is a memorial of remembrance and a mother’s love for him, and we wanted to capture a few photos of her adorable baby boy alongside the remembrance tattoo for his brother.
We enjoyed the breeze by the cool creek on this Spring day during their motherhood photography session in Wenatchee. There is something about all the trees and the water and the snuggles that is so natural and ethereal, and capturing meaningful photos of moms with their children in nature is my favorite thing!
